Members of the People’s Water Board Coalition Interfaith Justice Committee (IJC) will speak out the day before World Water Day, a global observation of water as a basic and crucial human need. Leaders of many faiths will focus on the moral crisis evident when people are denied water because the bills are too expensive. The pandemic and the ensuing economic downturn made the need for water more obvious and urgent, but even before the pandemic, low income families and individuals needed income based water bills.
